Product Description

Silica Gel is synthetically amorphous silica, which is produced in the form of bead having the appearance of crystals. They can be considered as sponge like structures with a well-defined porosity, which can be varied by altering conditions during manufacturing. Desiccant Silica Gel has a narrow pore structure. This characteristic, couple with its large surface area, gives the product the ability to absorb moisture from air, gases and liquids.

Types of Silica Gel

White - A white gel produced in a number of different bead sizes and the capacity to absorb large amount of moisture.

Blue - A blue gel produced by impregnating the white gel with 3% of cobalt chloride. Blue gel exhibits deep blue colouration, which gradually turns to pink as water is adsorbed.
